Senior Associate/Manager, Climate and Risk, based in London reporting to the Head of ESG. In this role, you will support the delivery of Sonnedix’s Climate Transition Plan and contribute to embedding climate and sustainability considerations into business decision‑making across a growing and evolving portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with colleagues across investment, asset management, operations, procurement, and finance to coordinate inputs and support carbon accounting and transition planning processes.
- Identify and manage sustainability risks across the value chain.
- Progress core workstreams, support prioritisation, and help shape how climate and sustainability considerations are integrated into decision‑making.
- Translate evolving climate requirements into clear insights, practical processes, and accessible communication.
Desired skills and qualifications
- Experience contributing to climate transition, Net Zero, decarbonisation, or similar sustainability initiatives, ideally within a corporate or asset‑based environment.
- Understanding of carbon accounting methodologies (including Scope 3) and their application within a developing portfolio.
- Ability to build effective working relationships and collaborate with stakeholders across functions, including senior colleagues.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret data and communicate insights in a clear and structured way.
- Experience using data, digital tools, or dashboards (e.g. sustainability platforms or reporting tools) to support analysis and reporting.
- Comfortable working with evolving methodologies and developing data, with the ability to communicate assumptions and limitations transparently.
