The Role

Sonnedix is looking for an Insurance Analyst to join the Finance function as part of the Insurance team, reporting to the Senior Associate, Insurance. The role will provide support across all Sonnedix Group Insurance activities globally, with particular focus on core Insurance processes, support for local teams, technical contract reviews, loan compliance requirements, data quality and management, Insurance analytics and reporting. The Insurance Analyst will provide high quality data and trend analysis relating to claims and other reports and dashboards in support of Group Insurance activities.
The successful candidate will develop a close working relationship with internal stakeholders, such as Operations, Engineering and Construction, Project Finance and Growth to understand functional Insurance opportunities and responsibilities, as well as build relationships with external stakeholders and parties such as Insurers, Brokers, Advisors and Loss Adjusters.
The Insurance Analyst will help implement and manage the introduction of new Insurance policies, procedures and protocols across the Group and support other diverse areas of Insurance responsibility such as loan compliance, premium invoicing/allocation, budgeting, mergers & acquisitions, business development and technical contract reviews. The Insurance Analyst, will support future development and strategic direction of Sonnedix\’s Insurance team and also help manage the Insurance renewal process cycle globally.
Desirable skills
- Insurance industry experience and knowledge
- Highly numerate. Good ability to interpret, analyse and report on numerical data
- Experience with S4/HANA Public Cloud
- Proactive relationship builder with an open and honest communication style
- Fluent in English both written and verbal (Spanish as additional language would be desirable but not essential)
- Experience using or developing digital tools or workflows to improve efficiency, innovation and productivity
