The Finance Systems Manager will take ownership of Sonnedix’s SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud finance platform, supporting the stability of day-to-day operations, delivering effective system support, and driving ongoing improvements across key finance processes. With a focus on Procure-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash, this is a hands-on role that combines system stewardship, prioritisation, and continuous improvement within a small, collaborative team.

You will work closely with the Technical Lead and Systems Analyst, acting as a key link between Finance, IT, and external partners, including our AMS provider and SAP. The role involves managing and prioritising the system backlog, coordinating support activity, and helping ensure external support capacity is used effectively. You will also contribute directly to resolving more complex issues and supporting improvement initiatives that enhance automation, reduce manual effort, and strengthen financial controls. This is a varied role that blends operational ownership with technical and functional involvement, offering the opportunity to shape how the finance systems evolve over time.

Desirable skills
  • Experience with SAP Finance (FICO / S/4HANA), ideally including S/4HANA Public Cloud, or a strong understanding of its capabilities and constraints
  • Experience and interest in using digital tools and workflows to improve efficiency, innovation, and productivity, including driving adoption, supporting system optimisation, and contributing to finance transformation and continuous improvement through automation and process improvement initiatives
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, hands-on environment within a lean team structure, balancing system ownership with coordination and delivery
  • Able to make clear, practical decisions and support effective prioritisation across competing demands
  • Confident working with external partners and vendors, including providing constructive challenge where needed
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both finance users and technical stakeholders
