The Role

Are you a detail-oriented and proactive finance professional with a strong understanding of financial controls and reporting? Look no further! As a Financial Accountant at Sonnedix, you will play a vital role in managing the day-to-day finance activities of our primary UK operating entity. Reporting to the UK Financial Controller, you’ll ensure compliance with financial controls, produce accurate and timely financial reporting for SG&A activities, and meet external reporting requirements. In this role, you’ll oversee critical finance functions, including procure-to-pay processes, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and VAT submissions. You’ll collaborate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and tax advisors to streamline processes and ensure compliance with IFRS and UKGAAP (FRS101). Minimum Requirements:

• Fully qualified accountant with an understanding of IFRS and UKGAAP (FRS101).
• Advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.
• Solid knowledge of core financial controls and processes (Procure to Pay, Record to Receipt).
• Experience with SAP S4/HANA is a plus.

• Good attention to detail.
