You will have the opportunity to be part of a team that manages high-profile international projects and be an integral participant in RIMO’s pre-award services. Your excellent administrative, financial, and project management skills will thrive in the RIMO team as you collaborate with and support leading researchers and academics from Imperial and around the world.

What you would be doing

  • Work closely with the Associate Director for RIMO.
  • Work closely with Imperial PIs and consortia in developing and submitting proposals.
  • Provide day-to-day management for two Horizon2020 projects and maintain accurate records of outputs.
  • Identify new opportunities for RIMO.
  • Manage and monitor project budgets and ensure efficient communication on financial matters with project partners.
  • Provide team support, promote collaboration, and ensure effective information-sharing across RIMO and project consortia.

What we are looking for

  • Experience in the submission of proposals and periodic reports, particularly in the EU framework landscape.
  • Experience in managing budgets and resources, including day-to-day finances, reporting, procurement, and supporting staffing needs.
  • Practical knowledge of governmental (such as EU or UK Government agency) and commercial funders of academic research.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines by being self-directed whilst working collaboratively.

This is a full-time post (35 hours per week). This role is for a fixed-term contract for 24 months.
