The Student Life Manager (Global) will enable our talented and diverse student community to have an outstanding global student experience by making connections across cultures and borders through overseas modules, student exchanges, and engaging with the global Imperial community.
The Careers & Student Life team enables Imperial Business School students to have an outstanding student experience on-campus and overseas through engaging Imperial expertise, have ongoing career success, become strong leaders at Imperial and in their organisations, and have a positive impact on society.
What you would be doing:
- The Student Life Manager is key in providing the best possible experience to our students, on campus and globally.
- You will develop and deliver overseas modules for Imperial Business School students, manage working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, oversee the delivery of incoming and outgoing student exchanges, and implement new initiatives.
- You will line manage the Careers & Student Life Administrator, as well as temporary staff and trip delivery teams.
- The postholder will be expected to work on evenings and weekends to support team initiatives and will also be expected to travel overseas to support and lead part of the international experience modules.
What we are looking for:
- We are looking for a can-do candidate who has a multi-faceted operations background.
- You will have experience in project management, ideally in travel and/or events.
- Student mobility and/or student exchanges with partner universities.
- Exemplary communication and organisational skills.
- Stakeholder management (internal and external).
- Comprehensive (or commensurate experience in) hands-on, personalised customer service.
- Working in a multicultural environment.
- A fast-paced, agile, and adaptive delivery environment.

This is a Full Time and Fixed Term maternity cover contract for 12 months and is open for secondment opportunities. This is a temporary appointment to cover the duties of a member of staff whilst they are on maternity leave. The fixed term tenure given above may change should the member of staff exercise their right to return to work earlier or delay their return to work.
