The Department of Chemical Engineering welcomes applications for the post of Stores Manager to provide an efficient and effective technical support service to staff and students.

What you would be doing

Reporting to the Head of Technical Operations and Safety, you will be responsible for ensuring that the Department Stores is a central point for mail, goods deliveries and collections. Stocking general items required for laboratories and offices for all building users and other departments. The post holder will work closely with academic and professional staff, liaising with staff in other areas of Imperial as necessary to provide specialist support in purchasing.

You will be highly motivated, with excellent organisational skills, and can interact with staff, students and suppliers at all levels. You must be able and willing to undertake a wide variety of work, so a flexible approach is essential. You will also have the ability to prioritise workloads and use your initiative to frame recommendations.
