Imperial College London is seeking to appoint a Clinical Senior Research Fellow in Hepatic Histopathology based in the Division of Digestive Diseases of the Department of Metabolism, Digestion and Reproduction. The postholder will be based at the St Mary's Campus and will hold an honorary consultant role with Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust (ICHT). ICHT is a major provider of hepatology care across North West London and the hepato-histopathology service is required to support all acute Trusts in the Acute Provider Group.

The postholder is expected to contribute to an academic programme in HPB pathology. This programme would be aligned with the Department of Metabolism, Digestion and Reproduction, and the postholder will support the research activities of the Division of Digestive Diseases, and contribute to the Cancer Research UK Convergence Science Centre. Teaching and research are an integral part of the post. The postholder will be encouraged and supported to apply for a clinical scientist fellowship.

We are looking for someone with appropriate clinical experience in hepatobiliary pathology, with a documented track record in research. The postholder will be able to develop appropriate research collaborations with clinical and fundamental scientists across the university.
