The role of Resource Administrator is part of a team providing a comprehensive administrative service for the academic departments of the Faculty of Engineering through a year of change for Imperial. If you are customer‑focused with skills in HR and financial administration and would like to build your career in the Higher Education Sector, we would love to receive your application.
What you would be doing
You will be working as part of a small but critical team of Resource Administrators as we move to a new system for our HR, Finance and Research administration. You will provide support for functions such as procurement, expenses and standard HR and research administration processes for the academic departments of the Faculty of Engineering. This support will enable teams in these departments to focus on their training and the critical go‑live period to ensure there is no decline in service provision. As a result, you will be integral to supporting the world leading teaching and research being undertaken in the Faculty.

- Educated to A level standard or equivalent qualification/experience
- Experience of HR operational practices and processes
- Experience of working with financial systems
- Experience in raising purchase orders and processing expense claims
- Experience of research grant administration and/or the Higher Education Sector would also be desirable
