Are you highly organised, customer-focused and passionate about delivering learning experiences?

Join Imperial's Lifelong Learning team as a Programme Delivery Coordinator, where you will play a key role in the planning and delivery of a diverse portfolio of programmes, including executive education, open enrolment courses, custom programmes, online learning, summer and winter schools and under-18 provision.

In this varied and rewarding role, you will work closely with academics, programme teams, clients and learners to ensure programmes are delivered smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for coordinating programme operations, managing logistics, supporting participants and faculty and helping to create an outstanding learner experience from onboarding through to programme completion.

What you would be doing

  • Coordinate the planning and delivery of a portfolio of Lifelong Learning programmes, ensuring a high-quality and seamless learner experience.
  • Manage programme logistics, participant communications, course materials and learning platform content.
  • Support academics, programme teams and participants throughout the programme lifecycle.
  • Provide excellent customer service and act as a key contact for learner enquiries.
  • Support online, in-person and hybrid learning activities, ensuring all operational arrangements are in place.
  • Monitor programme budgets, process invoices and maintain accurate programme documentation.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues and risks, responding proactively to changing priorities and delivery requirements.
  • Support safeguarding arrangements and contribute to a safe and inclusive learning environment for all participants.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by reviewing processes, sharing best practice and identifying efficiencies across programme delivery activities.

What we are looking for

  • Experience delivering high-quality customer, learner or client services in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with a range of stakeholders.
  • Experience coordinating events, programmes, projects or operational activities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and use sound judgement.
  • Good administrative, analytical and documentation skills.
  • Financial awareness and experience of monitoring budgets or processing payments would be advantageous.
  • Experience of working in higher education, learning environments or client-facing settings would be beneficial.

Further information

This is a six-month contract based at our South Kensington campus with hybrid working arrangements.

Due to the nature of the role, some evening and weekend working may be required to support programme delivery activities. The role may also involve occasional UK and international travel, together with support for residential programmes, including occasional overnight stays. Time off in lieu and flexible working arrangements will be provided.

The successful candidate will be expected to undertake safeguarding training and support the implementation of Imperial's safeguarding policies and procedures.

As this post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, at the appropriate level, will be required for the successful candidate.
