Are you passionate about inspiring young people into STEMB and ready to shape the future of global youth learning? As Portfolio Manager – Global Youth Experiences, you will join Imperial College London’s Lifelong Learning team to lead the growth of an exciting portfolio of under-18 global youth programmes, connecting young learners with Imperial’s world-leading expertise. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a growing portfolio and drive its development, performance and impact. Working across teams, you will help create high-quality programmes that are commercially successful, strategically aligned, and designed to meet the needs of the youth market.

What you would be doing

  • You will support the strategic aims of Imperial College London, Lifelong Learning, the Global Learning Portfolio, and our stakeholders, helping to deliver innovative learning experiences that make a real impact.
  • You will have the opportunity to:

What we are looking for

  • Experience managing programmes, products or portfolios
  • Experience creating or delivering programmes for young learners
  • Confidence working across teams and stakeholders
  • Strong commercial and budget management skills
  • Excellent communication and organisation
  • An entrepreneurial, proactive and innovative approach
  • Knowledge and understanding of child safeguarding responsibilities and policies

Further information

This is a one-year contract based in South Kensington, with a hybrid working arrangement. Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to work some evenings and weekends to support programme delivery, as well as occasional UK and international travel. The role may also involve supporting residential programmes on site. Time off in lieu and flexible working arrangements will be provided. You will be required to undertake safeguarding training and act in accordance with Imperial’s safeguarding policies and procedures. As this post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, at the appropriate level, will be required for the successful candidate.
