Applications are invited for the position of Clinical Research Fellow, to work at NHLI and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. We are seeking a highly motivated junior doctor to join a collaborative team of clinicians, basic scientists, and physical scientists working on cardiovascular research. The researcher will focus on delivering prospective studies that test the effectiveness of AI-enabled ECGs in improving patient outcomes.
What you would be doing
The Clinical Research Fellow will deliver prospective studies testing the effectiveness of care pathways informed by AI-enabled ECGs. You will work closely with the bioengineers and AI scientists within the multi-disciplinary group. You will also assist with activities of the Clinical Research Facility at West Middlesex Hospital and participate in occasional clinical activities (up to one day a week).

- Medical qualification with registration at the General Medical Council
- A background in cardiovascular research, including with AI and big data, is desirable.
- The post will require collaboration with other groups both within and outside the department.

The post is full-time fixed term for 12 months in the first instance with the possibility of extension and will be based at the Hammersmith Campus. We will assist in preparing applications for a higher degree (PhD).
