The AT trainer/SpLD Tutor will undertake assistive technology training sessions with students identified with disabilities, including those with SpLDs. They will be responsible for the design of training materials and delivering sessions on a one-to-one basis and in groups.
What you would be doing:
- You will take the lead on technical software issues, AI issues and finding solutions to user problems, collaborating with the manufacturers and ICT.
- You will be overseeing license allocation and tracking use.
- You will also be promoting and advising on the university’s provision of technology in examinations.
- A secondary part of your role will be to provide some study skills support for students including those with SpLDs.
