We're looking for a creative volunteer to help redesign our branding, social media, website graphics and promotional material.

What are we looking for?
We’re looking for someone who is creative, enthusiastic and enjoys bringing ideas to life through design.
Whether you're an experienced designer or building your portfolio, we'd love to hear from you.
- Our ideal volunteer will have
- Experience creating logos, branding, illustrations or digital graphics.
- A portfolio of work (professional, freelance, academic or personal projects).
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- A willingness to take feedback and develop ideas.
- A good eye for colour, typography and layout.
- The ability to manage their own time and volunteer remotely.
- Passion for creativity, music, online communities or fandom culture is a bonus but not essential.
- Experience with software such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Affinity Designer, Canva, Figma or similar is desirable, but we're more interested in creativity, enthusiasm and a strong portfolio than the specific tools you use.

What will you be doing?
Sonic Radioboom is an independent UK internet radio station preparing for its biggest relaunch since first launching in 2012.
We are looking for a passionate volunteer Brand & Graphic Designer to help shape the future of our identity.
As part of our creative team, you'll work alongside our station management to develop a modern, recognisable brand across our website, social media and promotional material.
Responsibilities
- Creating logos and brand assets.
- Designing social media graphics and promotional artwork.
- Producing website graphics and banners.
- Helping develop our visual identity and branding guidelines.
- Creating merchandise concepts.
- Supporting artwork for events, campaigns and special broadcasts.
- (Optional) Character and mascot artwork, including our station mascot "Sonia".
We're not looking for someone to do everything.
Whether your strengths are branding, illustration, UI design or social media graphics, we'd love to hear from you.
You'll have creative freedom, your ideas will be valued, and your work will become part of a growing community radio project.
