About the Role
- Receive and book samples into the LIMS (Winpath) system.
- Handle client calls and queries via email and phone.
- Ensure appropriate investigations are performed in a timely manner and that specialised and urgent specimens are dealt with correctly.
- Work with the onsite repertoire of Haematology, Biochemistry and Transfusion; refer other samples to the main laboratory (Halo).
- Support quality control/assurance duties, health and safety practices, and participate in internal and external training.
- Collaborate with the TDL regional labs group on troubleshooting, training, peer auditing and company projects.
Qualifications:
- Desirable experience in a laboratory or sample reception area.
- Attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work accurately under routine conditions.
