Senior Biomedical Scientist, Histopathology - Northwick Park Hospital, Harrow
Location: Northwick Park Hospital, Watford Road, Harrow, Middlesex, HA1 3UJ
Contract /Hours: Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
Salary range: Up to £63,685 per annum DOE inclusive of regional pay allowance

Due to the nature of work that Sonic Healthcare UK undertakes, our clients require that Employees filling certain roles, need, as part of their on-boarding to complete a DBS Check. This role falls into the category of requiring a DBS check (standard).
About the role
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced HCPC-registered Senior Biomedical Scientist within our Histopathology department based at Cellular Pathology Services, Watford. Our department operates from Monday to Friday, 7am to 7pm. We are looking for a candidate who have completed their Master’s Degree in Cellular Pathology or equivalent and can demonstrate equivalent knowledge and skills. The successful candidate is expected to fully engage in day to day operations of the ensuring delivery of high-quality Histopathology services. You are expected to be proactive, motivated and a team player with an excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will also have opportunities to progress in their careers. We are UKAS accredited and a recognized HCPC / IBMS training laboratory.
Essential qualifications and experience
- HCPC Registered - include registration number with your CV and application
- Extensive laboratory experience in Histopathology as Biomedical scientist.
- Full and unrestricted work rights for the UK.
