A Fixed-term (six months) opportunity has arisen for a Referrals Co-Ordinator to join the team at 1 Mabledon Place. Working shift: Weekly rotation shift and a weekend. The successful candidate will assist with the day-to-day running of the Referrals Department, including sample processing, packaging, shipping, liaising with clients, internal departments and external laboratories on a daily basis. Also reporting all returned results and ensuring that results are conveyed to requesting doctors efficiently. The role will involve communicating any changes in sample type, methodology and reference ranges to the head of department. You will be familiar with laboratory computer systems and the processes required for the referral of samples to external laboratories and will liaise directly with internal and external customers. Candidates must be able to demonstrate previous experience.
