About the role

You will play a key role in keeping Core Laboratory facilities running smoothly, ensuring equipment uptime, maintaining patient safety, and supporting improved patient outcomes. The role is based at the main site, with occasional support across multiple sites in North West London.
What you will be doing
- Maintain, service and repair advanced laboratory analysers, including dismantling and fault diagnosis
- Support new equipment installations and liaise with manufacturers for technical support
- Accurately log faults, manage documentation, and keep stakeholders informed
- Participate in on‑call support, emergency repairs and preventive maintenance programs
- Work closely with IT, analytics teams, and other colleagues to ensure minimal downtime across the automation laboratory
What we are looking for
- Qualified in Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics or Medical Technologies
- Hands‑on experience with medical analytical or laboratory equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and fault‑finding skills
- Flexible and able to work unsociable hours when needed
- Organised, detail‑focused and confident in documenting work
