Sonia Friedman Productions is seeking applications for a full-time, experienced Wigs Hair and Make-up Assistant to work on the London production of STRANGER THINGS: THE FIRST SHADOW.
Responsibilities:
- Wig setting and dressing
- Makeup application and knowledge
- Styling of Afro-textured hair
- Gents hair styling
- Character and fashion makeup and some prosthetics
Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar role on a large-scale production is required
- Ability to commit to a full contract and right to work in the UK
Details:
- Start Date: March 2026
- Job Location: West End London
- Contract Type: A year's fixed term contract with rolling thereafter
- Salary: Weekly rate as per SOLT/BECTU Agreement
- Weekly Hours: 6-day weeks (Tuesday to Sunday); 8 shows per week plus maintenance and understudy calls
