As a Workplace & Facilities Specialist, you will provide practical, people‐focused workplace support and work closely with colleagues and external partners to maintain a positive and accessible environment across our sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build positive day‐to‐day relationships with external partners providing workplace facilities, Health & Safety, security and catering services.
  • Contribute to the thoughtful, efficient and inclusive use of the workplace space as part of our modernisation programme.
  • Engage proactively with stakeholders to understand needs and help ensure onsite expectations are met.
  • Support effective vendor relationships, helping with the timely delivery of services within agreed budgets.
  • Help maintain a safe, accessible and legally compliant working environment, meeting all statutory fire, health and safety standards.
  • Assist with workplace and estate related projects, collaborating with internal teams and suppliers.
  • Participate in occasional out-of-hours emergency call support and occasional onsite attendance when needed.
  • Promote safe working practices and a positive Health & Safety culture in partnership with our strategic HSE provider.
  • Prepare monthly updates and ad hoc reports to support informed decision making.
  • Support regulatory Health & Safety requirements and the development of related programmes.

Critical Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in workplace facilities or health & safety or vendor management along with service or operations management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Health & Safety and Environmental Management Systems.
  • Strong understanding of NI Health & Safety legislation.
  • Ability to support and influence positive organisational change.
  • Strong relationship building skills and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
