SONI is Northern Ireland’s Transmission System Operator. We are seeking a Director of Finance who will act as a trusted business partner to the Chief Executive and senior leadership team. The successful candidate will lead key initiatives that support both day-to-day operations and the delivery of our long-term strategy. The Director of Finance will be responsible for all financial and legal matters within the organisation, managing SONI’s financial resources across planning, reporting, control, procurement, treasury, taxation and insurance. They will also provide leadership across governance, risk and legal services to ensure regulatory and legal compliance.
This role is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced senior finance professional with a proven track record of operating at Executive or Board level in a complex environment. We are looking for a robust people leader with strong experience in driving transformational change. Experience within the energy, utility or regulatory sectors would be beneficial, although not essential.
