The Role
We are seeking an ambitious and commercially astute valuation professional to join our specialist Healthcare team in London, at a level suited to Senior Surveyor through to Junior Director depending on experience. You will work across a broad portfolio of healthcare real estate, carrying out Red Book-compliant valuations and providing strategic advice to lenders, investors, operators, and occupiers. The team advises on the full spectrum of healthcare assets, including care homes, primary care facilities, specialist supported living, independent hospitals, and wider operational real estate.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake RICS Red Book valuations of healthcare assets for secured lending, financial reporting, transactional, and advisory purposes
- Prepare and present detailed valuation reports to institutional clients, lenders, and private equity
- Manage instructions from instruction through to report delivery, maintaining client relationships throughout
- Support fee earners at Director level and above on complex, multi-asset, or portfolio instructions
- Contribute to new business development and the growth of the team's healthcare client base
- Stay current with healthcare sector dynamics, including operator performance, regulatory frameworks, and investment market trends
- Mentor and support junior members of the team
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in healthcare real estate valuation — this is non-negotiable; candidates without sector exposure will not be considered
- Strong understanding of the operational drivers behind healthcare assets, including care home trading performance, CQC registration, and funding structures
- Experience preparing Red Book-compliant valuation reports to a high standard
- Ability to manage client relationships independently and handle a caseload with minimal supervision
- Commercially minded, with an awareness of the investment and transactional market for healthcare assets
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience across multiple healthcare sub-sectors (e.g. elderly care, specialist care, primary care, independent hospitals)
- Existing relationships with lenders, investors, or operators active in the healthcare space
- Exposure to healthcare portfolios or sale and leaseback transactions

Based in our Abu Dhabi office, we are seeking an experienced Senior Valuer to support and deliver high-quality commercial valuation assignments. The successful candidate will be RICS qualified, technically strong, and capable of managing valuation instructions independently while contributing to market research, client relationships, and the ongoing development of the valuation service line.
Responsibilities
Valuation & Technical Delivery
- Undertake commercial valuation instructions accurately, efficiently, and in line with RICS standards.
- Prepare clear, well-structured valuation reports with limited supervision.
- Ensure all valuations are supported by robust market evidence, research, and analysis.
- Maintain orderly and accurate file records, including digital records, in accordance with internal procedures.
- Fully understand and utilise office technology, valuation software, and internal systems.
- Conduct site inspections, analyse market data, and apply appropriate valuation methodologies.
Market Knowledge & Research
- Build and maintain a strong understanding of GCC property markets, including relevant legislation, valuation standards, and best practice.

Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in real estate or a RICS-accredited discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ commercial valuation experience in the UAE or similar markets.
- MRICS and RICS Registered Valuer required.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical capability.
- Excellent report writing skills and clear communication style.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build professional relationships.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple deadlines.
- Understanding of regional business culture and regulatory frameworks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong working knowledge of Argus Enterprise, Argus Developer, and Estate Master.
- Fluency in English (verbal and written); additional languages, including Arabic, are advantageous.

This role is to work specifically in our Central London Valuation & Advisory team made up of 25 professional staff. The team provides a mix of loan security and fund valuation work to a range of top tier clients, and values some of London’s most recognisable London landmarks including The Shard, 22 Bishopsgate, Kings Cross Estate and Broadgate Campus to name a few. The team focusses on commercial valuations across the whole of London and produces close to 500 valuation reports in any given year, with an aggregate yearly value of £100
