About the Role:

As a Chiller Service Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing all chiller and HVAC units across the South of the UK, with a primary focus on the London area. This field-based role will occasionally involve providing technical assistance on various projects, troubleshooting, and dilapidation reporting. The position is part of a call-out rota, currently 1 in every 19.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure service levels are maintained to the highest standard
  • Commission and maintain industrial and commercial chiller and HVAC systems
  • Diagnose and repair faults in the systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance, including inspections and cleaning
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues with refrigeration cycles, compressors, condensers, evaporators, and control systems
  • Complete and maintain accurate records and reports of works carried out
  • Provide technical support and training to clients and colleagues
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies

Requirements:

  • Experience with chiller equipment
  • Strong knowledge of refrigeration principles, HVAC systems, and chiller systems
  • FGAS certification
  • Relevant qualifications in a related field (e.g., NVQs)
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Passion and enthusiasm for engineering
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Valid driver's license
