Complex Care Support Worker – Sleeping Nights
- Complex Care Support Worker
Location: Norfolk
Hours: 12-hoursleeping night shifts 8pm-8am.Pay: £120 per night.
We are looking for a compassionate, dedicated, adaptable and reliable female support workers to join our team and provide tailored support to a female in her late 20\’s with complex needs.
There will be a Nurse on a Waking night shift and you will be there to assist if extra support is required during the shift.About the Client:
Our client is a 28-year-old female with severe epilepsy, autism & learning disabilities. She has a gastrostomy, a feeding tube and a PEG for medication. She requires oral suctioning and medication to control seizures.She requires support with toileting, washing and dressing.
Her favourite activities include baking, jigsaw puzzles, walks, eating out in pubs and cafes, swimming and going to the beach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalized care and support to our client.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation and household duties.
- Administer medication via PEG, oral suctioning and monitor health conditions.
- Accompany client in the community.
- Provide emotional support and companionship.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the client\’s condition.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements:
- Experience within care desirable, however full training can be provided.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Energetic, upbeat, and empathetic nature.
- Awareness of accessibility – knowledge of wheelchair friendly routes, transport and venues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work the specified hours.
- Valid UK driver\’s license.
