Commercial Contracts Manager (13-Month FTC)

A growing energy business is looking for a Commercial Contracts Manager to step into a high-impact 12-month role covering maternity leave. If you want to work with senior leaders, influence commercial decisions, and take real ownership, not just process paperwork, this is a standout opportunity.
The Role
You’ll be the go-to commercial specialist in a lean, fast-moving team. From reviewing and negotiating contracts to advising leadership on risks and opportunities, you’ll play a central role in helping the business scale as it brings new sites online across the UK.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing the company’s central contracts register
- Reviewing agreements and highlighting risks or commercial exposures
- Drafting, amending, and renegotiating supplier, lease, and royalty contracts
- Supporting OFGEM audits and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Reviewing documentation for new energy sites
- Working closely with finance and operations to improve commercial clarity
- Providing commercial insight directly to senior leadership
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience reviewing, negotiating, and managing contracts
- Detail-driven, commercially minded, and confident challenging unclear terms
- Comfortable working with senior stakeholders
- Bonus: experience with procurement agreements, financial models, or audits

The Package
- £55,000–£70,000 depending on experience
