About the Role
An international law firm with a highly regarded Banking & Finance practice is seeking a talented Leveraged Finance Associate to join its London office. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on some of the most sophisticated leveraged and acquisition finance deals in the market, advising leading financial institutions, private equity sponsors, and corporate borrowers.
Key Responsibilities
- Act on complex leveraged and acquisition finance transactions, including sponsor-led and corporate financings.
- Draft and negotiate credit agreements, intercreditor agreements, security documentation, and related contracts.
- Advise lenders, sponsors, and borrowers across a broad spectrum of financing structures.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across practice areas and jurisdictions to deliver innovative, commercial solutions.
- Support senior lawyers with business development initiatives and help build strong client relationships.
About You
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales.
- 2-5 years’ PQE with strong leveraged/acquisition finance experience from a leading law firm.
- Excellent technical skills in leveraged finance and related banking work.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and client-facing abilities.
- Able to manage complex matters independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Commercially astute with a genuine interest in the leveraged finance market.
