The AI Consulting Lead drives end-to-end AI transformation programs across enterprise clients, operating at the intersection of business consulting, AI strategy, solution architecture and delivery enablement. The role acts as a trusted advisor to executives while partnering with architecture and engineering teams to move AI opportunities from discovery to pilot to scaled adoption. Success is measured by business value, speed to impact, adoption and enterprise-grade scalability. This is not a pure architect, data scientist or delivery manager role. It is a business-led AI transformation leadership role that bridges executives, architects and engineering teams with a focus on measurable value and scalable adoption.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Advisory & AI Strategy: Advise C-suite and senior stakeholders, lead value discovery workshops, frame business problems, prioritize AI use cases and shape roadmaps aligned to enterprise architecture, data, security and risk constraints.
- AI Solutioning & Co-Design: Partner with solution and enterprise architects to design copilots, agentic workflows, RAG-based knowledge systems, reusable patterns, reference architectures and accelerators; provide practical prototyping guidance using Copilot Studio, Azure AI, low-code or equivalent platforms.
- Program Leadership: Own the lifecycle from ideation to PoC to pilot to scaled deployment; establish governance, KPIs, value tracking, milestone plans and risk controls; remove blockers across business, IT, security, architecture and engineering teams.
- Executive Communication & Commercial Growth: Translate AI concepts into executive narratives, facilitate visioning sessions, build business cases and ROI models, support proposal development and shape client expansion opportunities through value-led solution storytelling.
- Governance & Adoption: Define responsible AI guardrails for privacy, security, compliance, hallucination handling and data controls; drive organizational readiness, training, change enablement and sustained adoption from pilot through enterprise scale.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Business Consulting: 10–15+ years in consulting, digital transformation or enterprise program leadership; strong problem framing, executive engagement, business case development, ROI modeling and transformation leadership experience.
- AI / GenAI Expertise: Hands-on exposure to LLMs, RAG, AI agents, Copilot solutions, Azure OpenAI / AI Foundry / Copilot Studio or equivalent; familiarity with prompt engineering, AI evaluation and enterprise data integration.
- Architecture Collaboration: Ability to translate business needs into architecture decisions and partner with architects on data platforms, APIs, security, IAM, compliance, scalability and cost considerations.
- Delivery & Commercial Leadership: Proven experience delivering AI / GenAI programs at enterprise scale; strong agile delivery, cross-functional coordination, milestone planning, risk management, proposal development, client presentations and solution-selling skills.
Preferred Industry Experience: Experience in one or more of: Healthcare / Life Sciences, Manufacturing / Supply Chain, Financial Services / Banking, Retail / Consumer.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred. AI / GenAI, Power Platform, Azure or comparable certifications preferred. Strong exposure to enterprise SaaS and the Microsoft ecosystem is a plus.
