Position Overview
As a Senior Frontend Developer, you'll spearhead our frontend development efforts, combining leadership with deep technical expertise. With your proficiency in React, you'll play a pivotal role in crafting and optimizing our web applications, ensuring they're both innovative and robust. Our technology stack includes React, Next.js, Storybook, TailwindCSS and is hosted in Azure. The frontend communicates with the backend via REST APIs. We are also looking to develop new, greenfield services using React and Next.js.
Responsibilities
- Mentoring developers and promoting best practices across the team.
- Drive the adoption of advanced frontend technologies and methodologies.
- Collaborate with architects and backend teams to design scalable, user-friendly, and high-performant solutions.
- Design, develop, and optimize web applications using React, TypeScript, and other frontend technologies.
- Ensure the responsiveness, performance, and maintainability of applications across platforms and devices.
- Experience with testing frameworks and tools, ensuring the reliability and robustness of the platform.
- Work closely with UI/UX designers, product owners, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver optimal solutions.
- Engage in agile development processes, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology field or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years experience working with Next.JS.
- Experience with testing frameworks/tools.
- Expert frontend development experience, with a proven track record of leading projects and teams.
- Knowledge of backend software development.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of guiding the team and interacting with a variety of stakeholders.
- Strong leadership qualities, with a commitment to mentoring and knowledge sharing.
- Familiarity with modern build tools, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms.
- Exposure to other frontend libraries or frameworks.
