We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Subsea Engineering Apprentice to join our Group Systems Integration team in Blackbushe. This is an exciting opportunity to gain practical experience in the design, manufacture, assembly, integration, testing, and maintenance of advanced subsea systems and equipment. Working alongside experienced engineers, you will help configure, function-test, and prepare subsea hardware for offshore deployment, ensuring all systems meet engineering drawings, procedures, and project specifications. This role offers excellent exposure to real-world engineering projects and innovative subsea technologies.
If you join, you will be:
- Supporting new product development, including component design, manufacture, assembly, testing, and integration.
- Assembling, integrating and setting-to-work subsea equipment such as electrical flying leads, control modules, manifolds, tooling, ROV interfaces, and software systems.
- Assisting with integration of subsea systems including control pods, umbilicals, and associated test equipment.
- Participating in product training to develop understanding of navigation and sensing equipment used in subsea systems.
- Providing hands-on technical support during mobilisation and system commissioning at company trial facilities.
