Are you looking for your next opportunity? Sompo has a unique opportunity for a Senior Business Transformation Analyst to join UK Change and Transformation within our Insurance Operations team. This role will sit within our London and UK Regions COO function. The UK Change and Transformation team play a vital role in delivering improvements into those operational teams which support Underwriting, Claims and other support functions, whilst at the same time undertaking transformation activities with which to broaden, and better control the services provided by these teams.
This exciting opportunity will allow the incumbent to lead business analysis activities across a portfolio of strategic change initiatives, working closely with senior leadership, business stakeholders, technology teams, and delivery colleagues to shape and implement solutions aligned with Sompo’s strategic goals. In today’s environment, this requires a modern analytical and delivery mindset, including strong data fluency, the ability to use collaboration platforms effectively, and the practical application of AI-enabled tools to enhance the quality, pace, and insightfulness of analysis. This role will play a key part in supporting business growth and strengthening the operational resilience of the services provided to Underwriting, Underwriting Operations, Claims, and UK Insurance supporting functions.

What you’ll be doing:
- The Senior Business Transformation Analyst plays a critical role in shaping the future operating model of our Commercial Insurance business. Acting as a strategic partner to business leaders, this role combines deep insurance expertise, advanced analytical capability and technology awareness to identify opportunities, define solutions and drive enterprise-wide transformation.
- The successful candidate will operate at the intersection of business, data, technology and change, helping the organisation leverage AI, automation and modern digital capabilities to improve performance, efficiency and customer outcomes.
Strategic Analysis & Business Architecture
- Lead analysis of complex business challenges across underwriting, claims, pricing, operations and distribution.
- Develop end-to-end views of processes, capabilities, value streams and operating models.
- Identify strategic opportunities to improve efficiency, growth, control and customer experience.
- Support target operating model and future-state design activities.
Transformation Leadership
- Lead discovery and shaping activities for major transformation programmes.
- Facilitate senior stakeholder workshops and strategic decision-making sessions.
