Are you looking for your next opportunity? Sompo has a unique opportunity for a Vice President, Global Head of Reporting and Governance in our Finance Operations team. We are seeking a Global Head of Reporting & Governance to establish and lead global reporting frameworks, performance visibility, and governance standards across Finance Operations. Reporting to the Global Head of Finance Operations, this role will drive transparency, strengthen internal controls, and enable data-driven decision-making across key operational processes. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on building scalable reporting capabilities and a robust governance environment aligned with the finance operating model.

What You’ll Be Doing…

  • Design and implement standardized global reporting frameworks across Finance Operations
  • Establish KPIs, metrics, and reporting methodologies for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and related processes
  • Deliver insights on performance, trends, risks, and improvement opportunities to senior leadership
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across finance systems and reporting tools
  • Leverage analytics to support operational decision-making and continuous improvement
  • Establish and maintain governance structures and internal control frameworks across finance operations
  • Partner with Internal Audit, Risk, and Compliance to strengthen controls and address findings
  • Support audit readiness and ensure alignment with regulatory and accounting requirements
  • Drive consistency in reporting and governance practices across global teams
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering transparency and accountability

What You’ll Bring…

  • 10+ years of experience in finance reporting, governance, or operational finance roles, including leadership experience
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, internal controls, and governance frameworks
  • Experience operating in global, multi-entity environments with complex structures
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing reporting frameworks and control environments
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills with a focus on performance insights
  • Experience with ERP systems, reporting platforms, and data tools
  • Ability to influence and partner effectively with senior finance and business stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

U.S. Salary Range: $165,000 to $225,000. Actual compensation for this role will depend on several factors including the cost of living associated with your work location, your qualifications, skills, competencies, and relevant experience.
