Overview

Visa Compliance Officer

Permanent contract / (Part‑Time, 50%). Glion London Campus, Roehampton, South West. Hybrid working possible, subject to agreement with Campus Director / Management.

Your Role

  • Coordinate the entire UK visa process for Glion London students, ensuring full compliance with UKVI Student Route requirements while delivering a seamless and supportive experience.
  • Advise new and returning students on UK visa regulations and guide them through their application process, including reviewing documents and issuing CAS statements.
  • Monitor visa compliance, track student attendance, manage contact points, and communicate with students at risk of non-compliance.
  • Act as a Level 1 SMS user, liaising directly with UKVI and maintaining strong professional relationships to support efficient case resolution.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant processes, updating visa guidance, documentation, and internal policies in line with UKVI requirements.
  • Manage key regulatory timelines including BCA reporting, CAS allocations, licence reviews, and campus visits by UKVI officials.
  • Support the wider student lifecycle by participating in arrivals, registration days, induction activities, and on campus events.
  • Update student databases (CRM/Academia), process student changes, and ensure accurate class registration.
  • Provide exceptional reception cover when required, delivering a welcoming 5 star service to students, staff, and visitors.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support student facing activities, field trips, Open Days, and other campus initiatives.

About You

You bring a strong understanding of UK visa regulations and compliance requirements, ideally with experience as a Level 1 SMS user. You have previously worked in higher education or within a student‑support environment and are confident managing the responsibilities of a Student Route sponsoring organisation. Exceptional organisational skills, professional communication, and a commitment to delivering 5‑star service are essential. You are comfortable working with databases and digital systems, able to take initiative, and confident in resolving issues independently. Your approach is service‑oriented, reliable and diplomatic, with a positive, can‑do attitude and a genuine interest in supporting students. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are proactive in assisting colleagues and contributing to campus activities.
