Hakkasan Group, a global hospitality leader behind renowned brands Hakkasan, Ling Ling, and Yauatcha, is seeking an experienced and passionate Deputy Head Sommelier to join our team at Yauatcha City & Yauatcha Soho. This is an experienced opportunity to support the Head Sommelier in leading the wine programme within a fast-paced, luxury hospitality environment.

You will play a key role in delivering exceptional wine service and ensuring the highest standards of knowledge and guest experience within a world-class brand.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Senior Sommelier or Deputy Head Sommelier within a premium restaurant or luxury hospitality environment
  • Strong wine knowledge with WSET Level 3 (minimum); WSET Level 4 or equivalent is desirable
  • Experience contributing to wine list development, purchasing and stock management
  • Strong organisational skills with commercial awareness and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and educate guests
  • Proven ability to support, coach, and develop junior team members
  • A genuine passion for wine and delivering exceptional hospitality
  • Flexibility to work across both Yauatcha locations, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK
