Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude.
- Take accurate food and drink orders.
- Advise on food and wine menu choices.
- Be knowledgeable about the dishes and history of the restaurant.
- Manage multiple tables efficiently while maintaining high standards of service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and courtesy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant or a customer facing environment.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods effectively.
- Ability to provide outstanding guest services with a positive attitude.
- A willingness to learn about menu items and company history / values.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with guests and team members effectively.
