Job Summary – Front of House

We are looking for Sommelier team members to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude.
  • Take accurate food and drink orders.
  • Advise on food and wine menu choices.
  • Be knowledgeable about the dishes and history of the restaurant.
  • Manage multiple tables efficiently while maintaining high standards of service.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant or a customer facing environment.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods effectively.
  • Ability to provide outstanding guest services with a positive attitude.
  • A willingness to learn about menu items and company history / values.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with guests and team members effectively.
