A Compliance Advisory Manager with responsibility for advising the Borrowing squad on compliance matters related to borrowing products. Reports to the Head of Compliance Advisory and works within the second line of defence.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day‑to‑day compliance advice to the Borrowing squad on products including Flex, Loans, Overdrafts, Business lending and Homeownership.
  • Review customer journeys and communications to support good outcomes and flag risks.
  • Advise Marketing and Financial Promotion teams on promotion rules and guidance.
  • Oversee regulatory breaches and incidents related to borrowing activity.
  • Monitor and interpret FCA CONC and Consumer Duty regulations to ensure compliance by design.
  • Collaborate with other teams to build strong relationships and communicate clearly.

Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of Consumer Duty and FCA CONC rules.
  • Hands‑on experience advising on borrowing products, ideally in banking, insurance or fintech.
  • Strong communication and problem‑solving skills, able to weigh risks and propose balanced solutions.
  • Self‑directed, able to juggle changing priorities and work independently.
  • Passion for compliance and banking innovation.

Location and Compensation

London, Cardiff or Remote within the UK. Salary £59,500 – £70,000, plus incentive awards.
