School Meals Supervisory Assistants are required for 1 hour and 15 minutes per day (12.30 pm to 13.45 pm - Monday to Friday), term time only, with mandatory attendance at some INSET Days.

£12.85 per hour (Annual Salary £24,796, Actual Salary £3,598).

We are seeking to appoint School Meals Supervisory Assistants to support with supervising students during the midday break, ensuring their safety, general welfare, and proper conduct during this period.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Supervision of students immediately before, during, and after the midday meal, including those who have a school meal and those who bring their own food.
  • Supervision of students’ entry into the dining room.
  • Assisting as required in clearing tables, wiping them down, and sweeping floors.
  • Assisting in the setting up and removing of furniture in parts of the school, in the dining room, where necessary.
  • Taking necessary steps when students are sick, carrying out minor first aid, and summoning assistance needed to deal with injuries or illness.
  • Supervising students in the playground or other areas of the school as required by the Headteacher.
