Somerset White is looking for an Office Assistant to support day-to-day running of a busy office. Teams you will be assisting include Lifestyle, Finance and Operations.
We are looking for candidates with some experience in office administration, data entry, bookkeeping or similar.
Successful candidates will be professional, meticulous, hyper-organized, dedicated, and highly competent team players.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 6pm.
Day to day duties will include:
- managing petty cash
- reconciling accounts
- credit control / chasing up payments etc
- query resolution
- general filing
- generating statements and raising invoices
- heavy data entry
- some office management – ordering supplies, helping with office systems and helping to ensure smooth running of office
- Assisting with improving operations and efficient running of the office day to day
- Supporting the client facing team with some of their projects for our HNW clients
- Some wider client team support and occasional paid weekend work
Skills and Experience
- Prior experience in a similar role is desirable
- Strong numeracy skills
- An extremely proactive and positive manner
- A keen eye for detail and strong work ethic
- Ability to work to tight deadlines/under pressure
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- ‘No job is too big or too small’ attitude
