Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time Physiotherapist position within Mendip CRS working 27.5hrs/week. This post will be primarily based in Frome, in-reaching to the ward and supporting the community. If you are looking for an opportunity to gain experience in Community Rehabilitation, this could be the post for you. We are looking for a dynamic and inspiring Physiotherapist to join the Community Rehabilitation Service in Mendip. You may be required to work across the 3 main Mendip bases. You will gain an in-depth knowledge and understanding of community working and supporting people within their own homes. You will be facilitating people to identify their goals on which to base and progress their individual rehabilitation programme. Successful candidates will be directly supported by the CRS team and Clinical Specialist within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Main duties of the job: carry out specific therapy assessments including goal setting and treatment planning, assess risk, promote and enable independent functioning and progression.
  • Commitment to a person-centred approach, ability to prioritise and work flexibly.
  • Work alongside other provider teams and services and collaborate with team members including OTs, Physios, Rehab Assistants, Assistant Practitioners and Pharmacy Technician.
  • Delegate rehabilitation tasks and oversee rehabilitation programmes for individuals.
  • Participate in the in-service training programme and peer group learning.
