We are looking for a Mortuary support worker to join our Mortuary teams across Musgrove Park and Yeovil District Hospital.
We are two small, dedicated teams with a passion for offering the best service to our patients and their families in very difficult times.
Main duties of the job
- To act as mortuary Support within the mortuary providing a high-quality service to both MPH and YDH mortuaries and H M Coroners service.
- Work within the Human Tissue Act (HTA) Licensing agreement for the trust and ensure all processes and procedures are compliant with the HTA licensing agreement.
- Admit and release deceased
- Input information on Various IT systems
- Daily cleaning of all areas of the mortuary
- Assist mortuary staff in preparation for postmortems
