Are you ready to play a crucial role in delivering high-quality digital services within a dynamic healthcare environment? We currently have vacancies for IT Support Technician positions at Somerset NHS Foundation Trust located both west at Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton and east at Yeovil District Hospital. As an IT Support Technician, you will be an integral part of our team, providing expert onsite support across acute, community, and mental health settings. You will ensure our hardware and software systems are fully operational, well-maintained, and secure – making a real difference in patient care.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage and resolve IT support calls, ensuring swift, effective solutions.
- Handle installations, configurations, relocations, and decommissioning of IT hardware and software.
- Troubleshoot issues, track support calls, and promote best practices in technology use and information governance.
- Work closely within defined policies and procedures to uphold the highest standards.
- Travel to other NHS sites within Somerset and participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota.
