We are seeking a Specialty Doctor in oncology to work full time, delivering 10 patient assessments per week alongside a dedicated on‑call rota. Our research‑oriented department hosts a dedicated Clinical Trials team, offering exciting opportunities with both commercial and non‑commercial studies.
The successful applicant will join a multidisciplinary team comprising:
- Clinical and Medical Oncologists
- Specialist Doctors
- Clinical Fellows
- Consultant Radiographers
- Consultant Pharmacists
- Chemotherapy Nurse Prescribers
- Immunotherapy Advanced Nurse Practitioners
Our active portfolio includes trials in radiotherapy and systemic anti‑cancer treatment. The Trust is committed to expanding this portfolio over the next 5–10 years, providing the potential for career development within a vibrant research environment.
Services are delivered across the county through cancer clinics at Musgrove Park Hospital (Taunton) and St Margaret's Hospice (Yeovil).
