The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.

  • This role is suitable for hybrid working and will involve a combination of working from one of our offices and working remotely.
  • 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays).
  • Take on a leading role within a small and supportive team.

What will I be doing?

We’re working to improve the lives of people in Somerset – and you’ll be a key part of that. Your day-to-day work will involve:

Supporting tenants and dealing with all housing related enquiries from giving initial tenancy advice to managing more complex case work.

Attending allocation/panel meetings and making recommendations and offers to potential tenants while achieving a balanced community of care and support needs.

Liaising closely and effectively with all relevant stakeholders including professionals, care workers, families and advocates involved in providing care and support to tenants.

Being fully engaged in all housing related issues including rent arrears, anti-social behaviour, repairs and maintenance.

Being fully engaged in the health and safety and maintenance of buildings helping to ensure compliance requirements are met.

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

We offer ongoing support, training and guidance to help you be the best you can be. But it will really help if you:

Have housing management experience gained within the social housing sector.

Have a working knowledge of housing law, performance standards and performance indicators.

Are experienced in supporting tenants to access help involving the provision of information and advice.

Have experience of working with people with vulnerabilities.

Have experience of dealing with safeguarding vulnerabilities.

Have experience in delivering a high level of customer satisfaction and a passion for working with people to achieve their goals.
