Job Role: Cook/Chef

Hours:19.5 hours per week

Pay Rate: Β£13.50 per hour (Β£14.55 on weekends!)

Location: Portcullis House, The Embankment, Langport TA10 9RZ

Shift Patterns:

Week 1:Tuesday: 08:00-15:00 Friday: 08:00-15:00

Week 2: Tuesday: 08:00-15:00 Friday: 08:00-15:00 Saturday: 08:00- 15:00 Sunday: 08:00-15:00

What We\’re Looking For:

  • Experience working as a Cook/Chef within a Care Setting, you must have a Level 2 QCF qualification in catering or demonstrable experience in working as a Chef or a Cook.

As a cook you will:

  • Provide a high standard or varied menus, reflecting individual dietary requirements, and ensuring nutritional value is monitored.
  • To manage and order food stock.
  • Supportingwith maintaining a clean and safe kitchen to a high standard.
  • To work with the kitchen assistant in the preparation and serving of food.
