What you’ll be doing:

  • You will assist with meal preparation under supervision.
  • You will clean the kitchen equipment, floors, surfaces, drainage systems, cupboards and storage areas as agreed with or directed by the Manager or Cook.
  • You will carry out kitchen and dining room activities such as laying tables and clearing away as required.
  • You will take proper care of all equipment and use cleaning chemicals as necessary in accordance with Health and Safety guidelines.
  • You will use hygienic and appropriate waste disposal systems.
  • You will use powered equipment following appropriate training including using a dishwasher, and will undertake tasks which require manual handling of loads.
  • You will maintain a professional and hygienic appearance.
