Hours Available: Full and part time opportunities.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting customers by accompanying them to appointments, shopping, and helping with daily living routines including washing, dressing, and personal care.
  • Providing companionship and making someone’s day a little easier.
  • Undertaking a key worker role, building special relationships with the customer and developing extended relationships with their families and friends.
  • Understanding the care plan in place to support the customers we look after and contributing to the reviewing of plans as directed.
  • Keeping clear and accurate computerized records of the care and support provided.
  • Ensuring our customers have eaten and are drinking enough to remain as healthy as possible.
  • Encouraging the customers to take part in activities organised by the Activities Co-ordinator and providing one‑to‑one support.
  • Supporting customers in order to improve health and wellbeing in order to maintain contact with family and friends e.g. Skype, internet.
  • Undertaking practical duties where necessary including cleaning, laundry and helping customers maintain their social and occupational skills e.g. letter writing, folding clothes and laying tables.
  • Working with the team around you to raise any concerns you have regarding our customers.
