What you’ll be doing:
- You will provide nutritionally balanced, attractive and well‑presented meals; including meeting special dietary needs where necessary.
- You will work with Company menus within limitations of your budget.
- You will carry out practical duties in relation to meal preparation using powered equipment where appropriate and will undertake duties which involve manual handling of loads.
- You will be responsible for ordering adequate provisions, their storage and rotation.
- You will organise the smooth running of your kitchen by working with, and delegating appropriate tasks to your catering team.
- You will maintain appropriate records to comply with HACCP, Company standards and legislation.
- You will consult with customers to ensure that individuals are offered choice and that individual needs are met.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience of working within a catering setting as a Chef or Cook.
- You must have a Level 2 QCF qualification in catering.
- Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
- A positive, can‑do attitude and a genuine passion for people.
