What you’ll be doing:
- Prepare and offer a stimulating programme of activities for service users.
- Collaborate with the care assistant to encourage participation in activities and provide one‑to‑one support.
- Maintain and support residents’ daily living skills.
- Organise outings to appropriate venues, liaise with other homes and arrange transport and catering.
- Advertise forthcoming events externally and within the home where appropriate.
- Report changes in health or mood to the team.
- Identify residents’ preferences for social interaction and offer choices of group or one‑to‑one involvement.
