About Finance Manager (Yorkshire Cricket Board)

The Finance Manager is a standalone role, reporting to the Director of Recreational Cricket and is responsible for the effective management and administration of all financial processes of the Yorkshire Cricket Board. The Finance Manager will support management and the Board in driving continuous improvement and effective financial decision making.

We are looking for people who meet the below criteria:

  1. 3+ years in a role of similar scale and scope to this one
  2. Experience in the production of management accounts, annual accounts and understanding the requirements of annual audit
  3. Strong Excel skills
  4. Demonstrable experience of building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
  5. Accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent), either newly qualified or part qualified with some relevant experience
  6. Use of Sage 200 and Xero
  7. Experience with payroll management
  8. Previous experience working with charity and/or community organisations, particularly in a not-for-profit setting
