Role Overview
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of our stores, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the smooth flow of parts and materials throughout the business.
What you’ll be doing:
- Picking, packing, and preparing goods for dispatch
- Logging despatches and goods-in using Sage 200
- Completing carrier bookings via online portals
- Checking incoming goods against supplier paperwork
- Kitting up parts according to Bills of Materials and recording allocations
- Issuing stock components for repairs or other needs
- General stores housekeeping and organisation
- Occasionally assisting with reports or administrative tasks, depending on your skills
What we’re looking for:
- Strong numeracy skills – the ability to accurately read, write, and record numbers is essential
- Excellent attention to detail – mistakes in part numbers or stock records can’t happen
- Forklift licence (FLT) is desirable
- Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
- Comfortable using computers and basic software (Sage 200 or similar)
